• Meeting Schedule

All regular meetings start at 6 pm until further notice

Important: Our in-person meetings are held in the classroom at A1 Vacuum and Sewing Center, 140 West Center Street, Kalispell, MT. We ask you to please park in the rear and use the back door.

Change - April 25 - MT Screenwriting Group no guest speaker this week

Due to schedule conflict, our guest Amanda Toney of Stage 32 will not be able to join us. Instead we will discuss potential topics for this group's summer sessions. If you have topics to suggest -- on screenwriting craft &/or business -- please join Barbara Schiffman online to help her plan sessions for summer months.

Barbara will also answer any questions you may now have about screenwriting craft or business -- in general or related to a script project you're working on -- as best she can. Use this meeting for group brainstorming or problem solving, or learning about a screenwriting topic Barbara can address for you.

This is a Zoom only meeting - 6-8pm MT time.

    May 16 - Open Readings

Time change: Beginning Dec 7, 2023 all meetings will start at 6 pm through the rest of the Winter months.

Plan to read up to 6 pages if there is a light crowd; otherwise, 2-3 pages, double-spaced with 1" margins.

If you have a few pages, you'd like input on, make about 8-10 copies to pass out, and bring them along. Plan to read up to 6 pages if there is a light crowd, otherwise 2-3 pages, double-spaced with 1" margins. If you're shy about reading aloud your own prose, someone else would be glad to read for you.

If you don't have anything to present, please come and share your enthusiasm & experience with the readers. We were all newbies at one time...
